This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement outbound global logistics operations for GE’s end customers.
• Oversee purchase orders while coordinating with buyers, vendors, freight forwarders, and carriers.
• Ensure the delivery of goods is timely, precise, and cost-effective.
• Monitor and resolve any import shipment discrepancies.
• Act as the primary customer contact for project logistics and provide support to the GE Project Manager.
• Maintain project plans and freight cost estimates for effective communication on customer projects.
• Conduct Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for internal stakeholders.
• Formulate logistics strategies aimed at optimizing cycle costs within the established budget.
• Manage and report on the full project lifecycle budget and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Assist in total landed cost logistics quotations throughout the ITO/OTR cycle.
• Support logistics cost strategies involving forecasting, market insights, and infrastructure data.
• Maintain awareness of project logistics risks and opportunities.
• Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for transport modes, routing, carrier selection, container utilization, and consolidations.
• Oversee ocean, air, and road freight management to enhance material flow.
• Maintain shipment schedules and disseminate shipment status updates.
• Monitor and manage in-transit inventory documentation.
• Supervise inbound container receipts, direct imports, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Track and manage demurrage and detention fees.
• Document shipment details and manage receivers through appropriate tools.
• Guarantee the accuracy of commercial invoices and packing slips, reconciling any purchase order discrepancies.
• Maintain document flows, which include commercial invoices, packing slips, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and other regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to address issues.
• Assist with regional transport programs, audits, record management, and reporting.
• Support the management of shipment and customs activities for import services.
• Aid in negotiating domestic freight contracts.
• Communicate any cost changes, shipment challenges, and supply-related concerns.
• Foster relationships with carriers and service providers.
• Gather transport drawings and provide them to carriers.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), facilitate review processes, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality-related escalations, CoPQs, and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), recommending sustainable improvement solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR a Bachelor's Degree expected to be completed by early 2027.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in international logistics, encompassing transportation, customs, supply chain standards, geographical issues, free trade agreements, and accreditives.
• Proven ability to interact and execute transactions using roll on/roll off, break bulk, specialized truck, and rail transport methods.
• Advanced proficiency in English is required; knowledge of an additional language is preferred.
• Strong leadership and facilitation capabilities.

• Comfortable working in matrixed cross-functional environments.
• Proven track record of delivering results.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
