Lead Full Stack Developer, Python, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on both the Angular frontend and Python backend of Emergn's primary product.

• Provide guidance on technical direction within the cross-functional delivery framework.

• Facilitate technical decision-making and promote consistent methodologies across the team.

• Mentor and assist junior team members.

• Take ownership of complex features and architectural choices from design to deployment and support.

• Ensure effective communication between the team and broader stakeholders, including regular updates on progress.

• Lead code reviews and engage in pair programming sessions.

• Promote collaboration, transparency, and quality throughout the team.

• Assist with incident response in accordance with the Incident Response Policy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of commercial experience in either Angular or Python, with robust commercial experience in the other technology.

• Proven history of designing and developing REST APIs and scalable modern web applications.

• Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the latest Angular versions and contemporary Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.

• Proficient in Git, with substantial experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in mentoring developers and facilitating technical discussions within a team setting.

• Practical approach to problem-solving and delivery, balancing technical aspects with customer needs for swift feature deployment.

• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team, with the capability to quickly establish relationships across disciplines.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production settings.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience working in SOX-controlled environments.

• Knowledge of tools such as NgRx, RxJS, or Ionic.

• Experience in shaping or evolving team structures and operational methods.

• This position is remote-based in Portugal.
