Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer, Python/Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Direct the technical trajectory of projects and make high-level architectural choices for AI-enhanced full-stack applications.

• Develop and construct resilient Python backend services alongside interactive frontend interfaces utilizing React, Vue, or Angular.

• Design and oversee data processing pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations.

• Conduct thorough code reviews while mentoring both junior and senior developers.

• Champion the adoption of engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and QA to convert requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable software.

• Keep track of emerging AI developments, including SLMs, Agentic AI, and multimodal models.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding feasibility and implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• At least 2 years in a leadership position within a technical capacity.

• Strong backend proficiency in Python, utilizing FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Modern frontend experience with React, Vue, or Angular; TypeScript is preferred.

• Practical experience in AI/LLM, including RAG patterns and LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Strong API design skills with REST, GraphQL, and real-time interfaces.

• Solid engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.

• Experience with relational and vector databases.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Currently residing in Latin America.
