Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer, Python/Typescript - Advertising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical strategy for projects and make key architectural choices for AI-integrated full-stack applications.

• Develop and implement Python backend services along with interactive frontend interfaces using React, Vue, or Angular.

• Design and sustain data processing pipelines, agentic workflows, and integrations with large language models (LLMs).

• Conduct code reviews, mentor both junior and senior developers, and promote engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and QA teams to convert requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable software solutions.

• Monitor emerging trends in AI, including SLMs, Agentic AI, and multimodal models.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding the feasibility and implementation of AI and web technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership capacity.

• Proficient in backend development with Python, utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Experience in modern frontend technologies like React, Vue, or Angular; TypeScript is preferred.

• Practical experience in AI/LLM, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Strong skills in API design with REST, GraphQL, and real-time interfaces.

• Solid engineering practices, including proficiency in Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.

• Familiarity with both relational and vector databases.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to a varied audience.
