Lead Forward Deployed Product Manager – Digital Business Consulting, Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Provide functional leadership for a team of 4–5 Forward Deployed Product Managers integrated into client implementations.

• Establish operational standards for requirements, prototypes, and workflow decisions across ongoing deployments.

• Serve as the escalation point between the FDPM team, Technical Account Managers, implementation engineering, and the core product team.

• Transform recurring deployment patterns into a shared playbook and integrate insights back into the core product.

• Define and uphold quality standards for requirements, prototypes, and documentation.

• Review and validate briefs and workflows prior to their delivery to clients or engineering teams.

• Assist FDPMs in overcoming complex or disputed requirements.

• Develop and maintain templates, workflow patterns, and prompting strategies.

• Manage staffing and workload across active deployments and identify capacity gaps to the Director of Product.

• Step in during critical client deployments when stakes are high or team members are unavailable.

• Communicate pod-wide progress, metrics, and operational challenges to product and delivery leadership.

• This role focuses on functional leadership; it does not involve direct reporting-line management, as people management responsibilities are held by the Director of Product.

• Strong blend of product mindset and practical execution skills.

• Proficient in identifying recurring trends across different client contexts and converting them into scalable, generalized solutions.

• Hands-on experience with contemporary AI tools, workflow design, prompting, and rapid prototyping.

• Capability to critically assess the technical outputs of others.

• Flexibility to alternate between high-level pod strategy and detailed execution within a single deployment.

• Ability to establish practical structures and standards while encouraging peer adoption.

• High sense of ownership, sound judgment in situations with incomplete information, and a proactive approach to action.

• Skill in determining when to intervene and when to allow an FDPM to take ownership of the outcome.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication abilities across technical, non-technical, client-facing, and executive audiences.

• Experience as a Forward Deployed PM, Solutions Consultant, Implementation Lead, or Technical Services Lead within SaaS, AI, or startup environments.

• Proven history of leading initiatives, workstreams, or informal teams in fast-paced, client-focused environments.

• Direct people management experience is not necessary.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
