Lead – Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Prepare monthly financial statements, semiannual reviewed financials, and annual financials in accordance with IFRS for international branches.

• Execute centralized accounting functions and generate related Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for MB Overseas branches.

• Compile and present information to external auditors and regulatory bodies.

• Generate monthly financial reports for senior management, including variance analysis.

• Detect deviations through thorough monthly variance analysis.

• Assist in the implementation and upgrades of systems, test new products, review product specifics, and create accounting entries.

• Examine outstanding items in Sundries Accounts, follow up and escalate for resolution or write-off approvals, and take corrective actions.

• Assess opportunities for MIS automation and test new or upgraded systems.

• Establish accounting procedures for newly opened overseas branches.

• Keep SOPs for overseas accounting and reporting current and updated.

• Coordinate the opening or modification of General Ledgers (GLs) in Flexcube.

• Maintain accurate GL mapping in OFSAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA qualification required.

• More than 4 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.

• Strong expertise in IFRS and its practical application.

• Proficient in computer accounting software and core banking systems.
