Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Finance Business Partner for commercial, operations, and product teams.

• Develop and maintain financial simulation models, which include business plans, unit economics, and deployment scenarios.

• Model and present ROI and TCO for infrastructure deployments directly to clients and partners.

• Provide support to the commercial team throughout the sales process.

• Take ownership of monthly financial reporting and profitability analysis by site or unit.

• Monitor KPIs such as margin, cash conversion, and payback period.

• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Challenge operational assumptions in collaboration with business teams.

• Analyze manufacturing and deployment cost structures, identifying optimization opportunities alongside industrial and production teams.

• Prepare financial materials for the executive committee, board, and investors.

• Assist in due diligence for fundraising or asset financing.

• Collaborate with finance teams across group operating companies to ensure model consistency and consolidated reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business finance.

• Ideally, experience in a capex-intensive environment such as infrastructure, energy, industrials, telecom, or data centers.

• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including advanced Excel, ROI models, NPV/IRR, and multi-scenario business plans.

• Capability to present and simplify complex financial analyses for non-financial audiences, including clients and partners.

• Understanding of cost and profitability mechanics related to physical assets, including capex, depreciation, operating costs, and recurring revenue.

• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and ability to perform under time pressure.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Working knowledge of French is an advantage.

• Comfort in a fast-growing environment with changing priorities and minimal established processes.

• Previous experience in AI infrastructure, cloud, data centers, or renewable energy is a plus.

• Familiarity with project finance, leasing, or structured financing for industrial equipment is beneficial.

• Experience in multi-entity or multi-country environments with consolidated reporting is advantageous.

• Interest in Power BI, SQL, and scripting is a plus.

• Prior consulting, investment banking, or private equity experience focused on infrastructure or energy transition is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and headquarters.

• Required application information includes total years of experience, preferred compensation, and relevant experience with NetSuite ERP, accounting automation/AI initiatives, accounting standards, and professional accounting qualifications.
