Lead Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at client locations following Honeywell-specific training.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to guarantee safe system operation, efficiency, and reliability.

• Offer technical assistance and guidance to customers in the field.

• Record service activities and keep precise work records.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance continuous improvement and customer satisfaction efforts.

• Travel frequently to customer sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in field service or technical support positions.

• Over 3 years of technical knowledge and experience with electronic, mechanical, or software systems pertinent to Honeywell products.

• Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting intricate technical equipment.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and service management software.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Willingness and capability to travel 70% to 80% to customer locations domestically and occasionally internationally.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

• Experience in industrial or commercial service settings.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during field assignments.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
