This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and manage Epic PB Administration and PB Claims operations during implementation, optimization, and ongoing production support.
• Act as the main liaison throughout the build, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support phases.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for intricate application issues and support tasks.
• Provide leadership and direction to analysts, ensuring consistent, high-quality results and compliance with standards.
• Utilize expert knowledge of Epic applications, professional billing processes, and healthcare operations to advance business and operational objectives.
• Analyze complex challenges, determine root causes, and create effective solutions across application and operational teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, business, technical, and IS stakeholders to grasp requirements, workflows, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management processes.
• Lead or contribute to projects, enhancements, upgrades, and optimization efforts.
• Mentor and coach team members while fostering creative problem-solving and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Keep precise application documentation, workflows, and technical specifications up to date.
• Work autonomously while coordinating with multiple teams and managing priorities.
• 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare, business, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with Epic Professional Billing (PB) Administration and/or PB Claims.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare business processes, workflows, and application support.
• Proficient in application implementation, configuration, testing, go-live, optimization, and production support.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; proof of education is required.
• Current/valid Epic certification(s) pertinent to the supported application(s); verification of online certification is required.
• Capability to work independently and demonstrate leadership with minimal oversight.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of project management experience or equivalent project leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience within a large, complex healthcare organization is preferred.
• Experience in mentoring or coaching application analysts is preferred.
• Additional Epic certifications related to Professional Billing or Revenue Cycle are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Hourly pay rate based on experience and qualifications: $75.00–$85.00/hr.
• 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
• Primarily remote work opportunity.
• Periodic travel required.
