This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead the build, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Cadence.
• Act as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary point of escalation for Cadence.
• Manage Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management activities.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and leadership teams.
• Drive complex projects, upgrades, enhancements, and initiatives for workflow optimization.
• Mentor analysts and offer technical guidance to team members.
• Oversee testing, issue resolution, go-live, and stabilization tasks.
• Maintain documentation for applications, workflow requirements, and build standards.
• Collaborate with vendors, Epic representatives, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing application performance and workflows.
• An associate’s degree is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems is necessary.
• Proven experience in supporting Epic applications within a healthcare setting.
• Experience in leading application support, implementations, or optimization initiatives.
• A strong understanding of healthcare workflows, integrations, and application lifecycle management is essential.
• Current Epic Cadence Certification is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of project management or equivalent leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic upgrades, implementations, and optimization is preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling, access, registration, and patient workflows is preferred.
• Travel is required.
• High possibility of contract extension.
