Lead Engineer – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create customer applications focused on work order management, scheduling, and dispatch.

• Partner with stakeholders to pinpoint essential functionalities in custom ServiceNow instances.

• Improve ServiceNow event rules to guarantee appropriate CMDB binding.

• Engage with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather environmental information that supports service mapping and event operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer.

• Strong ability to communicate and implement requirements effectively.

• Capability to develop interfaces tailored for various user groups utilizing custom application models or Service Portals.

• Expertise in developing integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow internal services and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with service-oriented and distributed enterprise application architecture.

• Knowledge of both credential-less and credential-based Discovery methods.

• Proficient in installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow SAM Pro software products.

• Understanding of Discovery, Service Mapping, Certification Management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.

• Skills to prevent duplicate Configuration Items (CIs) using CI identifiers.

• Ability to enhance Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.

• Knowledge and capability to configure, manage, and maintain MID servers.

• Proficient with command-line console operations for Service Mapping.

• Competence in working with and migrating patterns across environments for Service Mapping.

• Proficiency in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.

• Understanding of multi-tier service Discovery and advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
