Lead Email Designer – US Retention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create the initial emails for each new client.

• Develop the visual identity for each brand, encompassing typography, photographic style, color schemes, merchandising, and motion graphics where applicable.

• Ensure design quality across the agency’s portfolio.

• Lead, brief, critique, and mentor graphic designers.

• Offer campaign-level art direction for weekly communications, promotional events, and product launches.

• Collaborate with strategists and copywriters to transform briefs into high-caliber campaign designs.

• Challenge briefs that may lead to uninspired work.

• Modify design direction across various sectors, including fashion, beauty, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and accessories.

• Establish and uphold the agency’s standards for email design quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an agency that serves 9-figure ecommerce/DTC brands; please specify the agency and brands.

• Outstanding email portfolio showcasing campaign art direction, custom display typography, treated photography, and designed merchandising.

• Continues to engage in hands-on design; the initial work for each new client must originate from them.

• Prior experience in leading design teams, including briefing, redlining, and enhancing design quality.

• Proficient in Figma.

• Assumed proficiency in Adobe software.

• Capability to create designs for Klaviyo without resorting to generic Klaviyo-style aesthetics.

• Versatile design experience across fashion, beauty, CPG, and accessories.

• Professional command of written and spoken English.

• Residing in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, or Costa Rica.

• Availability to work from 9 AM to 1 PM EST; the role operates from 9 AM to 5 PM EST on all working days.

• A portfolio link featuring email work is required; NDA-covered projects may be substituted with the closest shareable editorial or campaign work.
