This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate teams of Account Executives and Strategic Account Executives.
• Establish strategic direction, priorities, and operational expectations for account teams.
• Promote a high-performance culture through feedback, talent development, and succession planning.
• Provide executive accountability and senior-level oversight for large, intricate PBM clients.
• Act as the escalation point for complex client issues and senior-level engagements.
• Manage overall revenue growth, retention, and profitability for the assigned portfolio.
• Guide renewal and expansion strategies while identifying opportunities for solution expansion.
• Offer portfolio-level insights into financial performance, drug trends, pricing strategies, guarantees, and account economics.
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and senior leadership on renewal scenarios, margin and value opportunities, and executive client discussions.
• Lead cross-functional partners across account management, clinical, product, operations, underwriting, analytics, and implementation.
• Align resources, eliminate barriers, and promote complex client and business objectives.
• Provide leadership oversight for complex RFPs and renewals.
• Keep abreast of pharmacy benefit management, managed care, healthcare market, legislative, and regulatory trends.
• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare, account management, or similar client-facing roles.
• Previous experience in people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Proven success in managing large and complex employer or health plan accounts through teams.
• Demonstrated executive presence and strategic insight, including leading senior-level client discussions, clearly presenting complex financial and PBM concepts to non-technical audiences, and confidently navigating high-stakes or escalated situations.
• Strong digital and AI fluency with inclusive leadership that aligns with the transformation agenda.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured personal vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, including overnight and short-notice travel.
