This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Spearhead the technology product strategy and implementation for essential clinical care delivery offerings, encompassing both in-clinic and virtual care interactions, in-basket management, and inventory oversight.
• Collaborate with clinical and business operational leaders to design comprehensive technology pathways that promote safe and high-quality outpatient care.
• Lead diverse teams comprising product managers, Epic analysts, software engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers.
• Convert clinical visions into scalable technology roadmaps that prioritize patient outcomes, safety, care team experiences, and cost efficiency.
• Work with healthcare delivery leadership to develop effective and safe outpatient care models.
• Act as a strategic advisor for CVS HCD business stakeholders in shaping care model strategies.
• Propel cross-functional technology teams to provide solutions for care model technologies.
• Set up shared outcome metrics linked to clinical quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Transform clinical concepts into problem statements, product specifications, and Epic/technology architectures.
• Supervise the complete technology design, technical requirements, and development process.
• Integrate external data sources, such as claims data, remote monitoring, and health plan feeds, into internal Epic workflows.
• Manage the technology lifecycle from the discovery and solution phase through to build, deployment, and outcome realization.
• Implement feedback loops and cycles for iterative improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate high-performing product and cross-functional technology teams.
• Support CVS HCD's admissions prevention initiatives and promote a culture of trust and resilience within the team.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, clinical technology product management, and enterprise EHR implementations, particularly with Epic.
• Proficiency in value-based care models and Epic as a primary care delivery platform.
• Practical experience with Epic EHR workflows and module configurations.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into Epic builds.
• Knowledge of how external health data enhances EHR clinical workflows.
• Extensive understanding of clinical operations and Quality Improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Value-Based Care frameworks and Fee-For-Service operational dynamics.
• Awareness of medical cost initiative care pathways.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to implement high-scale technology-driven clinical interventions.
• Established history of collaboration with primary care delivery networks, retail clinics, and/or value-based care organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and build trust with both senior executives and frontline team members.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous clinical challenges into clear problem statements.
• Proven experience in people leadership.
• A graduate degree and/or clinical background (RN, MD, DO, NP, PA) is preferred.
