This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Lead the strategic development and execution of technology products aimed at preventing admissions and segmenting patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare leadership on comprehensive care models to enhance admission prevention efforts.
• Improve care coordination and create or apply models for patient risk stratification.
• Formulate care model strategies in partnership with stakeholders from CVS Healthcare Delivery.
• Guide cross-functional technology teams to pinpoint and implement effective technology solutions.
• Develop shared metrics for outcomes that relate to clinical quality, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams consisting of product managers, Epic analysts, software engineers, data scientists, and designers.
• Convert clinical concepts into problem statements, product specifications, and Epic/technology architectures.
• Merge external data sources with internal Epic workflows to equip clinicians with actionable insights.
• Manage the technology lifecycle from problem identification to solution development, deployment, and realization of outcomes.
• Create ongoing feedback loops and cycles for iterative improvements.
• Expand solutions across both Value-Based Care and Fee-for-Service delivery settings.
• Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing product team.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams in Epic, engineering, and data science.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, resilience, problem-solving, joy, and high engagement.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, clinical technology product management, and enterprise EHR implementations, particularly with Epic.
• Proficiency in value-based care models and Epic as a primary care delivery platform.
• Practical experience with Epic EHR workflows and module configurations.
• Capability to translate operational needs into Epic builds.
• Knowledge of how external health data enhances EHR clinical workflows.
• Extensive familiarity with clinical operations and Quality Improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Value-Based Care frameworks and Fee-for-Service operational dynamics.
• Understanding of medical cost initiative care pathways.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale technology-driven clinical interventions.
• Documented experience collaborating with primary care networks, retail clinics, or value-based care organizations to enhance medical cost trends and clinical care pathways.
• Established ability to communicate, influence, and build trust with senior executives and frontline team members.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to translate ambiguous clinical challenges into structured problem statements.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead with empathy, optimism, and rigor.
• A graduate degree and/or clinical background (RN, MD, DO, NP, PA) is preferred.
