This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate in the design, automation, and management of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
• Lead the International DevOps team by establishing priorities, mentoring engineers, and aligning delivery practices with product and engineering objectives.
• Automate and oversee cloud environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and enhance release engineering workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and system issues across various environments.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for infrastructure alerts and escalations.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies utilizing cloud-native services.
• Execute system hardening and security configurations across services and operating systems.
• Maintain and advance infrastructure-as-code practices while automating operational processes.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge sharing, and team development.
• Demonstrated experience in building, deploying, and operating highly scalable infrastructure in a security-focused cloud environment.
• Experience supporting Tier 1 financial institutions with significant transaction volumes is a strong advantage.
• This is a remote position requiring work during East Coast hours.
• 3–5+ years in a senior or lead role, including mentoring, owning delivery, and establishing standards.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines such as Bitbucket Pipeline, Jenkins, or Spinnaker in distributed environments.
• Expertise in Kubernetes; CKA certification is preferred.
• Strong scripting or programming abilities with Terraform, Python, Bash, or YAML.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficient with Bitbucket or GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, including shift-left security and the integration of security scanners into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner.
