This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and implementation of data pipelines for reporting and advanced analytical purposes.

• Execute data ingestion, transformation, validation, quality assurance, optimization of pipelines, and orchestration processes.

• Collaborate closely with the DevSecOps Engineer throughout the continuous integration and continuous deployment phases.

• Spearhead the design and establishment of standardized data management protocols for staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and disposal.

• Guide data engineers in the design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, and operation of large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures.

• Direct the design, development, and upkeep of real-time processing applications and data pipelines.

• Ensure the technical solutions maintain high quality as data transitions across Centene’s environments.

• Provide insights into evolving data processing, storage, and utilization needs, proposing effective solutions.

• Construct, test, and maintain data architectures utilizing advanced programming languages and tools.

• Enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality while identifying tasks suitable for automation.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) combined with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

• Equivalent experience through demonstrated knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflecting the level of this position may be accepted as a substitute.

• Proficient experience in Advanced Data Modeling.

• Proven experience with Solutions Architecture.

• Skilled in Data Manipulation and Data Mining.

• Experience in developing strategies and structures for Data Analysis.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with Snowflake.

• Experience working with Databricks.

• Ability to recognize basic issues and procedural discrepancies, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Capable of working independently.

• Proven analytical abilities.

• Demonstrated project management capabilities.

• High accuracy levels, even in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in communicating and making recommendations to upper management.

• Ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion.

• Technical proficiency.

• Adherence to all policies and standards.
