This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and uphold a unified data model for Zero Trust maturity, implementation evidence, dependencies, risks, and outcome metrics.
• Compile and verify authoritative enterprise data utilized for monthly delta evaluations and quarterly reports.
• Construct analytics that assess capability maturity, implementation advancement, interoperability, organizational preparedness, and investment priorities.
• Assist with capability-weighted prioritization frameworks and enterprise gap analyses.
• Collaborate with Dashboard and Automation experts to enhance recurring data refresh and visualization processes.
• Set up data quality, lineage, traceability, and documentation standards for assessment findings and executive reporting.
• Aid in the implementation of security capabilities, assess technical solutions, maintain cybersecurity tools, and assist operational teams in converting security architecture into repeatable practices.
• Work in close partnership with vulnerability management, incident response, RMF, and ISSO teams to facilitate operational risk mitigation and continuous enhancement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of experience in data engineering, analytics, cybersecurity metrics, or enterprise reporting.
• Proficiency in integrating structured and semi-structured enterprise data from diverse authoritative sources.
• Experience in creating repeatable metrics, analytical models, and quality assurance controls.
• Strong skills in SQL, scripting, data visualization, and technical communication.
• Preferred: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Splunk, data lakes, or enterprise analytics platforms.
• Preferred: Background in supporting cybersecurity maturity assessments or Federal reporting.
• Preferred: Knowledge of CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model metrics and evidence concepts.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, AWS Data Engineer, or Security+.
