This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead, oversee, mentor, and develop a team of product analysts.
• Establish the analytics vision and strategy for Pearson Higher Education offerings.
• Align analytics priorities with product objectives, business strategies, and quantifiable learning and commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with product leadership on roadmaps, quarterly planning, prioritization, and measurable results.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships across product, design, engineering, learning science, data platform, and commercial stakeholders.
• Define and manage the Higher Education product KPI framework focusing on commercial performance and learning outcomes.
• Propel product instrumentation and telemetry in collaboration with engineering and data platform teams.
• Develop and scale experimentation practices, tools, testing standards, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Conduct exploratory analyses to identify new product opportunities.
• Convert complex analyses into actionable insights for executives and leadership.
• Ensure data quality, definitions, lineage, and reliability.
• Achieve a defined KPI framework, influence product decisions, enhance experimentation, create roadmap opportunities, and strengthen the analytics team within the first 12 months.
• Over 8 years of experience in product analytics.
• A minimum of 2-3 years managing analysts.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex data solutions and achieving measurable business impact.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders and managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with empowered product teams and understanding of the product operating model.
• Strong skills in experimentation, including test design, sample sizing, result interpretation, and advising when not to conduct a test.
• Technical expertise in SQL, including BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Experience with product analytics tools like Mixpanel or similar.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
• Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with senior product and engineering leaders.
• Experience in education, edtech, learning, behavior change, or skill acquisition is highly preferred.
