Lead Consultant, Digital Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in defining, delivering, and overseeing the lifecycle of one or more products within Allstate's expanding product portfolio.

• Aid in establishing a strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to enhance customer and enterprise value.

• Identify assumptions and validate them through product discovery methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and partners on go-to-market and communication strategies.

• Author, test, and approve user stories.

• Define and manage metrics to assess success and guide product strategy.

• Contribute to the product strategy for one or more digital products.

• Utilize customer feedback, market analysis, and data collection to inform product strategy decisions.

• Assist in breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog.

• Manage the product backlog and provide timely feedback to stakeholders on development iterations.

• Represent the voice of the customer by engaging with current and potential customers to gain insights into their needs and behaviors.

• Participate in discovery and test-and-learn initiatives to validate assumptions and product direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant experience (Preferred).

• Proficiency in business case analysis.

• Experience in client relationship management.

• Strong customer-centric focus.

• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

• Knowledge of digital products.

• Background in insurance.

• Skills in prioritization.

• Experience in managing product backlogs.

• Understanding of product direction.

• Expertise in product management.

• Ability to create product roadmaps.

• Knowledge of product strategies.

• Clarity in product vision.

• Strong systems thinking skills.

• Familiarity with the waterfall model.

• The selected candidate must undergo a background investigation.
