This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform utilizing Terraform and best practices for Infrastructure as Code.
• Oversee Kubernetes (GKE) environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and effective resource management.
• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Monitor the health of infrastructure through observability, logging, alerting, and enhancements in incident response.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to support analytics platforms and data pipelines built on Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and BigQuery.
• Maintain and modernize hybrid infrastructure encompassing Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, and legacy AWS environments.
• Enhance identity and access management via Workload Identity and OIDC.
• Identify and rectify infrastructure drift while ensuring that environments remain secure, reproducible, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external infrastructure providers to enhance platform reliability and establish cloud standards.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence.
• Over 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including state management and drift detection.
• Practical experience in managing Kubernetes environments, preferably GKE.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience in supporting hybrid environments that integrate modern cloud infrastructure with legacy Windows and database platforms.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English communication.
• Nice to have: Experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or Windows Server administration.
• Nice to have: Experience with Auth0, OIDC, or modern identity management.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
• Nice to have: Experience with large-scale analytics or data platform infrastructure.
