This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Create and oversee strategic initiatives aimed at educating healthcare professionals on product indications to enhance the adoption of Abbott’s leadless CRM portfolio.
• Offer clinical expertise along with technical, educational, and sales support to both current and potential clients.
• Impact procedural outcomes through presentations, data-driven insights, and extensive product knowledge.
• Deliver technical assistance in accordance with instructions for use, trial protocols, and best practices.
• Support site performance and encourage safe growth.
• Aid in the education and training of physicians, support staff, and Abbott personnel.
• Communicate clinical information related to leadless CRM products.
• Provide advice on products, hospital electronic systems, device implantation, technology, patient indications, patient selection, reimbursement, and programming.
• Educate healthcare providers on therapy indications and the selection of candidate patients.
• Deliver technical support and service for products and therapies through in-services for staff and physician seminars.
• Coordinate and execute programs and resources that support market expansion and therapy access.
• Gather market intelligence to inform therapy training and expansion strategies.
• Supervise local education and training efforts, including procedure simulators, simulated procedures, troubleshooting, and pre/peri/post-procedure staff in-services.
• Maintain extensive clinical and technical knowledge of products while monitoring relevant literature, competitive products, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with marketing on technology enhancements and future needs.
• Complete administrative reporting and provide updates on work status.
• Utilize best business practices to ensure success and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to Abbott's policies and practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, engineering, or equivalent/related experience.
• Over 5 years of clinical experience with medical devices or an equivalent background, preferably with Leadless CRM products.
• Proficient in analyzing and evaluating technologically complex devices.
• Capable of collaborating and working effectively with others.
• Comfortable operating in medical environments, including laboratories and hospital settings.
• Demonstrated success in leading and influencing customers, providing guidance to facilitate course corrections.
• Skilled in preparing and delivering impactful written and verbal communications.
• Comprehensive understanding of medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and commonly used personal computer applications.
• Significant business travel required.
• Professional training/education certification or designation is preferred.
• Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen is preferred.
