This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Design and oversee strategic initiatives that educate healthcare professionals on product indications to enhance the adoption of Abbott’s leadless CRM portfolio.
• Offer clinical expertise and provide technical, clinical, educational, and sales assistance to both existing and prospective customers.
• Influence procedure outcomes through effective presentations, data-driven insights, and in-depth product knowledge.
• Deliver technical support based on instructions for use, trial protocols, and best practices.
• Promote site performance and facilitate safe growth within healthcare environments.
• Aid in the education and training of physicians, support staff, and Abbott personnel.
• Communicate clinical information regarding leadless CRM products.
• Act as a therapy expert on products, hospital electronic systems, device implantation, technology, patient indications, patient selection, reimbursement, and programming.
• Educate healthcare providers on therapy indications and the selection of patients.
• Provide technical support for products and therapy through staff in-services and physician seminars.
• Coordinate and execute programs and resources to broaden market reach and facilitate therapy access.
• Supply market intelligence to inform therapy training and expansion strategies.
• Supervise local education and training efforts, including procedure simulators, simulated procedures, troubleshooting, and pre/peri/post-procedure staff in-services.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge.
• Stay informed on published leadless CRM literature, competitive products, industry trends, and the leadless CRM portfolio.
• Collaborate with marketing on technological advancements and future generation needs.
• Complete administrative reporting and provide performance status updates.
• Employ best business practices to ensure success and cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to Abbott policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, engineering, or an equivalent/related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical medical devices or a similar field, preferably with Leadless CRM products.
• Ability to analyze and assess technologically complex devices.
• Capability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
• Comfort in navigating medical environments, including laboratories and hospital settings.
• Proven track record of leading and influencing customers while providing guidance for necessary adjustments.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering effective written and verbal communications.
• Thorough understanding of medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of commonly used personal computer programs and applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Significant business travel is required.
• Preferred: Professional training/education certification or designation.
• Preferred: Previous sales experience and/or demonstrated business acumen.
