This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage Sureel’s most critical relationships with rights-holders
• Guide partners through pilot programs and implementations by coordinating testing, data evaluations, product feedback, onboarding, and decision-making processes
• Comprehend partner value, challenges, and platform requirements
• Incorporate partner needs into product development for Product, Engineering, and AI teams
• Convert attribution and payout models for partners
• Detect patterns from partner discussions to inform product, commercial strategies, and industry direction
• Develop scalable methods, processes, and tools for engaging with rights-holders
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of partner-facing attribution data and reporting
• Discover opportunities to enhance relationships through new use cases, expanded catalog participation, and increased platform engagement
• Represent Sureel in high-level partner meetings and industry contexts, including interactions with Warner Music Group counterparts
• Prepare context and background information for significant partner discussions
• Collaborate with leadership on client strategy and prioritization within the partner network
• Contribute to the development of the client function as Sureel expands
• Report directly to the two Co-Presidents
• Work together with Business Development & Licensing on commercial agreements and new contracts
• Collaborate with partners, Product, Engineering, AI, and leadership to influence product evolution and market direction
• Extensive experience in music rights, metadata, and/or collective management
• Knowledge of splits, share pictures, composition rights, recording rights, and the payment processes of CMOs and publishers to their members
• Proven track record in building and managing senior relationships with rights-holders, clients, partners, or industry stakeholders
• Ability to translate client insights into product, business, and commercial strategies
• Proficiency with data and technical details, including the ability to read datasets, question figures, and communicate findings to non-technical partners
• Capacity to quickly establish trust, represent leadership, make informed judgments, and escalate issues appropriately
• Exceptional communication skills and composure in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to differentiate individual client requests from broader market trends
• Passion for the music industry and a readiness to work in a small, collaborative, fast-paced team
• Background with artists, labels, publishers, CMOs/PROs, music-tech companies, or senior consulting to these entities (preferred)
• Experience in client/QA, business operations, client relations, or strategic partnerships (preferred)
• Participation in industry metadata or rights standards initiatives (preferred)
• Direct experience working with C-level executives on client strategy (preferred)
• Curiosity about the music and entertainment landscape and the influence of AI on creators (preferred)
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, CRM and calendar tools, and expense management systems such as Concur (preferred)
