This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee and direct business process analysis, process re-engineering, and ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
• Examine, assess, and document current business operations, workflows, information systems, and organizational processes.
• Create future-state process models and implementation plans.
• Organize, coordinate, and manage information systems, systems analysis, business process modernization, technology integration, and organizational transformation projects.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders to gather, confirm, and prioritize requirements.
• Evaluate organizational and program-related risks, dependencies, and limitations, providing actionable recommendations.
• Set performance baselines, key performance indicators (KPIs), and methodologies for process measurement.
• Develop, sustain, and standardize process documentation, governance artifacts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), business rules, workflows, process guides, and operational frameworks.
• Construct and assess financial models, cost estimates, business cases, return on investment (ROI) analyses, and cost-saving strategies.
• Offer technical and business consulting expertise related to information systems, process automation, technology capabilities, implementation strategies, operational impacts, risks, and costs.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and work alongside system engineers, software developers, architects, and technical teams.
• Manage large-scale technology and business enhancement projects.
• Propose strategies for organizational change management, implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption.
• Analyze project and organizational performance metrics and suggest enhancements.
• Act as a technical authority and subject matter expert across various programs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and project personnel, and may directly oversee staff and project activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• At least eight (8) years of professional experience in business process re-engineering (BPR), process modeling, operational analysis, or continuous process improvement.
• Must hold an active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required or must be able to obtain it within the specified timeframe.
• Proven experience in leading intricate business process analysis, business transformation, and technology modernization projects.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems, systems analysis, business process improvement methodologies, and project management principles.
• Experience in conducting financial analysis, cost estimation, business case development, and performance measurement activities.
• Strong capability to evaluate operational needs, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations for complex business and technical issues.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage significant assignments with limited oversight while coordinating efforts among various stakeholders and functional areas.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
