This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.
• Observe and document existing processes within Operations, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay.
• Create comprehensive current-state swim lane process maps illustrating activities, ownership, handoffs, decision points, systems, and dependencies.
• Document roles and responsibilities associated with various processes.
• Evaluate systems, data flows, reports, controls, and process handoffs.
• Review existing process documentation, procedures, controls, reports, and supplementary materials.
• Identify manual tasks, bottlenecks, unnecessary handoffs, redundancies, process complexities, gaps, risks, and control deficiencies.
• Assess opportunities for simplifying, standardizing, streamlining, or redesigning processes.
• Propose enhancements for cross-functional coordination, process ownership, controls, data flow, and operational visibility.
• Compile an inventory of process improvement opportunities.
• Classify opportunities into quick wins and longer-term initiatives.
• Evaluate the business impact of proposed improvements.
• Prioritize recommendations based on business value, risk, complexity, and implementation factors.
• Convert assessment findings into actionable recommendations for business and leadership stakeholders.
• Create a prioritized process improvement roadmap detailing recommended initiatives and their sequencing.
• Communicate the rationale, anticipated impact, dependencies, and considerations for suggested improvements.
• Over 7 years of experience in business process engineering, management, process improvement, operational transformation, or management consulting.
• Proven experience in conducting current-state process assessments in complex organizations.
• Expertise in developing process maps, swim lane diagrams, workflow documentation, and process narratives.
• Experience in assessing Order to Cash (O2C) and/or Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
• Strong grasp of cross-functional business processes, including systems, data, controls, reporting, roles, and handoffs.
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies, risks, control weaknesses, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Experience in formulating prioritized process improvement recommendations and transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviewing capabilities.
• Proficient in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.
• Capable of working independently, navigating ambiguity, and quickly grasping complex business environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience collaborating across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio is preferred.
• Must be available to work Central Time hours.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.
