Lead Business Intelligence Analyst

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by converting strategic business goals into comprehensive enterprise analytics strategies and solutions.

• Impact enterprise decision-making through advanced analytics, storytelling at the executive level, and actionable insights.

• Discover opportunities to enhance growth, productivity, customer experience, and digital transformation using data, analytics, and AI.

• Oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and reusable enterprise analytics solutions.

• Shape architectural standards for semantic models, data products, metrics, dashboards, metadata, lineage, self-service analytics, and the lifecycle management of analytical assets.

• Create frameworks for enterprise measurement, including KPIs, forecasting models, and performance reporting strategies.

• Develop reusable analytics frameworks, design patterns, and accelerators.

• Ensure that solutions comply with architecture, data governance, security, privacy, and data management standards.

• Assess and recommend generative AI, predictive analytics, automated insights, natural language querying, and intelligent decision-support capabilities.

• Advocate for responsible AI practices that adhere to governance, compliance, security, and risk management standards.

• Identify emerging trends, risks, technologies, and opportunities that could impact the analytics strategy.

• Lead enterprise analytics projects from strategy formulation and solution design through to implementation, adoption, and realization of value.

• Collaborate with business leaders to establish success metrics, quantify value, and ensure measurable results.

• Promote the adoption of data-informed decision-making, analytics best practices, and data literacy.

• Align analytics priorities, strategic roadmaps, and organizational best practices.

• Mentor analytics practitioners by providing technical leadership, sharing knowledge, and offering architectural guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, business, economics, or a related quantitative field; a Master's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, data strategy, management consulting, or similar advisory positions.

• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale analytics initiatives and influencing senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Successful track record of collaborating with executive leadership to shape business strategy, prioritize investments, and achieve measurable outcomes through data, analytics, and AI.

• Experience spearheading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives related to analytics modernization, KPI standardization, self-service analytics, data governance, data products, or AI-supported decision-making.

• Background working within complex, cross-functional organizations and influencing results without direct managerial authority.

• Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, fintech, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in SQL at an expert level.

• Extensive experience with Power BI or other contemporary business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.

• Expertise in enterprise analytics architecture, dimensional modeling, semantic models, data products, metric layer design, data modeling, and enterprise reporting frameworks.

• Experience in developing scalable, governed analytics solutions.

• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, metadata management, and analytical best practices.

• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and data storytelling abilities.

• Experience in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled analytics capabilities, including generative AI, natural language querying, automated insights, and predictive analytics.

• Proven experience in implementing AI and generative AI use cases, including governance, risk management, responsible AI practices, and strategies for business adoption.

• Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to lead through influence, unite diverse stakeholder groups, and foster consensus.

• Capability to transform ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical approaches and strategic recommendations.

• Experience in developing business cases, value realization frameworks, and measuring the impact of analytics.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with business acumen.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
