This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to enterprise clients on their journeys towards cloud and AI efficiency.

• Assist customers in implementing best practices for cost optimization.

• Establish requirements for tailor-made applications and agentic workflows on the PointFive platform.

• Manage a portfolio of NAM accounts from start to finish.

• Collaborate with engineering and cloud architecture teams to assess customer infrastructure.

• Promote optimization and remediation efforts on a large scale.

• Develop PointFive’s professional services offering from inception.

• Design service packaging and delivery, initiate engagements, and enhance scalability through software, automation, and team collaboration.

• Create best practices for AI and token expenditure management.

• Expedite enterprise deals in conjunction with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers.

• Represent professional services throughout the sales process and manage the transition into customer relationships.

• Foster renewals and expansion within the customer base.

• Convert customer feedback and industry insights into product requests and influence the roadmap.

• Act as a thought leader by writing, speaking, and participating in industry events.

• Contribute to building post-sales capabilities and enhancing brand recognition in NAM.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or cloud financial management.

• A background in engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps.

• Practical experience in developing and deploying custom applications, automations, and agentic workflows.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the cost models and optimization related to AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks.

• Familiarity with AI/LLM cost management and token expenditure optimization.

• Proven experience in identifying and addressing cloud inefficiencies beyond the obvious.

• History of delivering professional services or advisory engagements.

• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements at once.

• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience collaborating across Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.

• Capability to thrive in a startup environment: adaptable, self-directed, and resourceful.

• FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional, and/or AWS, Azure, or GCP Certified Solutions Architect Associate (preferred).

• Active participation in the FinOps Foundation community and a robust network within the FinOps/cloud ecosystem (preferred).

• Experience with public speaking at industry conferences (preferred).

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
