This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of full stack applications, workflows, and supporting services on the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Create user-facing features, backend logic, and workflow functionalities for finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning applications.
• Convert user stories and functional requirements into technical implementations.
• Aid in the creation of batch and near-real-time data pipelines that integrate legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.
• Execute data transformations, validations, and quality assurance checks.
• Ensure development aligns with ontology models, governance standards, and integration methodologies.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Engage in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and resolving defects.
• Contribute to enhancements in both frontend and backend, including UI components, APIs, pipeline logic, and workflow automation.
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Offer updates on task status, identify obstacles, and assist in meeting delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Support compliant and reliable deployment processes.
• Apply enterprise architecture standards, secure development practices, and platform development guidelines.
• Gain proficiency in Palantir Foundry frameworks, ontology-driven application development, and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering tools when applicable.
• Enhance technical knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, and platform-based application delivery.
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proven experience in developing software applications using Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with full stack software development, encompassing frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and system integration.
• Understanding of version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts.
• Background in agile development environments and working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.
• Experience in building or supporting enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or application integrations across various systems.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience in backend/API development and scripting using Python or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps concepts, containerization, or infrastructure automation.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products.
• Experience in regulated industries like defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and data governance principles.
• 9/80 schedule: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.
