This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the technical assessment of new AI/ML technologies through the development of prototypes, proof of concepts, and experimental initiatives.
• Analyze and convey the advantages, trade-offs, and implementation risks to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Design, create, and implement production-ready AI/ML applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Assist in the development of AI/ML applications across various disciplines including development, operations, and security in cloud-native settings.
• Promote the enterprise-wide adoption of advanced AI technologies and engineering best practices.
• Construct, train, assess, and enhance machine learning models for real-world applications.
• Work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver critical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and support the professional advancement of junior team members.
• Present technical insights, experimental findings, and architectural suggestions to leadership and federal clients.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of professional experience in software engineering or cloud engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying production enterprise applications on AWS.
• At least 2 years of experience in deploying production AI/ML applications in enterprise settings.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Hugging Face, Weights & Biases, or similar technologies.
• Solid experience in data analysis and manipulation using pandas.
• Experience in visualizing and presenting experimental results with tools like matplotlib.
• Proven experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and contribute to multiple projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable presenting technical solutions to clients and executive stakeholders.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
