Lead Advisor, Wealth Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Offer extensive support to high net worth clients ($2MM+) throughout their experience with Wealthsimple

• Ensure outstanding onboarding experiences for new clients

• Create detailed financial plans customized to each client's circumstances and objectives

• Develop personalized investment proposals that align with clients' financial goals and risk appetite

• Actively manage client accounts and anticipate their needs

• Maintain consistent communication via phone, video, and face-to-face meetings

• Utilize financial expertise to navigate complex situations involving corporations, trusts, and estates

• Provide insights to enhance Wealthsimple's service offerings and client experiences

• Focus on delivering client outcomes rather than merely achieving sales targets

• Collaborate with a team utilizing fintech tools

⛳️ Requirements

• CFP or IQFP designation is mandatory

• CIM or CFA designation is essential

• Additional qualifications such as FEA, TEP, CPA, etc. are highly advantageous

• Over 8 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles, particularly with HNW/UHNW clients

• Demonstrated history of providing exceptional client service

• Strong knowledge of financial planning and investment management

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to articulate complex concepts clearly

• Client-focused approach in all aspects of your work

• Enthusiasm for assisting clients in reaching their financial objectives

• Technology-savvy with the ability to utilize digital tools to improve client experience

• Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is a considerable advantage

• Currently registered, or immediately eligible for registration as an Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) or Portfolio Manager (PM) with CIRO

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
