Lead Accountant – Order to Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the operational connector between financial strategy and global implementation.

• Facilitate communication between Revenue/Finance leadership and the Accounts Receivable Operations team.

• Propel the acceleration of month-end closes and establish governance across global workflows and initiatives.

• Oversee the comprehensive Order-to-Cash transformation utilizing AI automation, predictive risk engines, and standardized operations.

• Standardize and expedite project timelines while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project completion.

• Document and uphold formal Standard Operating Procedures for AR workflows.

• Design human-in-the-loop validation steps to ensure financial controls are maintained.

• Lead the implementation of both agentic and non-agentic automation solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams to implement the Predictive Account Risk Engine.

• Utilize billing and consumption telemetry to prioritize collections outreach efforts.

• Employ Intelligent Document Processing and automated exception-handling tools to enhance the efficiency of repetitive tasks.

• Convert AR aging, Collections Efficiency Index, and Days Sales Outstanding metrics into liquidity forecasts and risk evaluations.

• Serve as the real-time liaison between Revenue/Finance leadership and AR Operations to align data points.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in OTC/AR/FP&A within SaaS or technology industries.

• Hands-on expertise in NetSuite, BillingPlatform, Zuora, and HighRadius.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams across different regions.

• Experience in analyzing intricate financial data and constructing structured variance reports.

• Strong collaboration skills across Finance, Sales, and Legal departments.

• Proven experience leading teams through process changes in SOX-compliant environments.
