Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Accurately and timely prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts for designated companies and general ledger accounts.

• Ensure deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings are met.

• Generate federal, state, and local reports, which include annual and monthly sales tax returns.

• Uphold financial security by adhering to internal controls.

• Execute other assigned general ledger tasks.

• Reconcile the balances of assigned asset and liability accounts.

• Assist in analyzing significant changes in account balances to maintain the accuracy of financial records.

• Prepare monthly reconciliations, including those for bank accounts.

• Compile annual audit schedules for external auditors.

• Support accounting projects and reporting tasks.
