This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for managing 10–12 selected National/Regional Accounts
• Foster executive and operational connections and act as the primary point of contact for business
• Increase wallet share while safeguarding against competitive encroachment
• Establish and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders and decision-makers
• Inform customers and serve as a consultant to present Honeywell Fire’s product offerings and solutions
• Ensure and uphold Honeywell's status on approved-vendor lists, master specifications, design standards, purchasing portals, and preferred-product programs
• Create and implement annual account strategies with objectives, wallet-share baselines, competitive threats, product priorities, and branch-level growth goals
• Perform quarterly business assessments and monthly performance evaluations to initiate corrective actions
• Achieve revenue and profitability objectives by retaining the existing customer base, defending renewals and replacement cycles, increasing customer spending, and converting competitive categories and locations
• Collaborate with Honeywell Sales Leaders and Regional Sales Managers on branch-level execution, pipeline management, product pull-through, and market share growth
• Spearhead the introduction, qualification, specification, and conversion of new products and releases
• Utilize market data, customer spending analytics, installed-base visibility, and competitive insights to pinpoint risks and prioritize opportunities
• Offer customer feedback on market conditions, competitor strategies, and industry trends to aid in product development
• Utilize Salesforce.com to manage activities independently and cultivate an active new-business pipeline
• Support the SIOP process by confirming projected demand, product mix, and delivery needs
• Negotiate prices and contractual terms according to company policies
• Represent Honeywell at tradeshows, meetings, training sessions, industry associations, and public events
• Act as a liaison between Key Accounts and Honeywell's functional teams, including credit, training, and quality
• At least 5 years of relevant business development and Key/National Accounts sales experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the fire alarm/life safety sector
• Willingness to travel 60–70% of the time
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities
• Capability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• High level of self-motivation; results-driven and metrics-oriented
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in establishing and fostering collaborative relationships and influencing various organizational levels
• Strong instincts for hunting and networking
• Competence in developing and sustaining long-term business relationships
• Strategic mindset complemented by tactical execution skills
• Ability to leverage data for evaluating business situations and industry trends
