This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a designated sales territory and achieve individual revenue goals.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with K–12 schools and districts.
• Establish connections with superintendents, district administrators, school leaders, and other key decision-makers.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
• Create territory strategies aimed at developing a sustainable pipeline and driving revenue growth.
• Ensure CRM accuracy and maintain disciplined opportunity forecasting.
• Represent Axiom at conferences, meetings, presentations, and customer-oriented events.
• Act as a player-coach and provide daily support for Account Executives.
• Guide Account Executives on prospecting, discovery, presentations, deal strategy, objection handling, and closing techniques.
• Assist with pipeline reviews while identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable next steps.
• Set consistent expectations and accountability standards across the sales team.
• Share effective strategies and best practices among territories.
• Aid in the onboarding and development of new Account Executives.
• Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, territory strategy, sales process enhancements, and team performance metrics.
• Participate in the recruitment and interviewing of future sales team members.
• Build a robust pipeline and achieve results in the assigned market, while enhancing overall sales team effectiveness.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
• A proven track record of meeting or surpassing individual sales targets.
• Prior experience selling to K–12 schools or districts is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in managing, leading, coaching, or developing sales professionals is essential.
• Experience in territory ownership and managing a complete sales cycle.
• Strong grasp of pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM best practices.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to mentor others while being accountable for personal performance.
• A collaborative leadership approach focused on accountability and ongoing improvement.
• Valuable experience in EdTech, educational services, SaaS, curriculum, assessment, professional learning, or solutions marketed to school districts.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually.
