Large Loss Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site inspections

• Examine coverage and property damage

• Generate estimates using Xactimate and various estimating software

• Resolve claims quickly and efficiently

• Manage virtual claims nationwide through ClaimsX Video Collaboration and other platforms

• Deliver empathetic and clear customer service throughout each claim process

• Conduct thorough damage assessments and interpret policies to ascertain coverage

• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video chat

• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants

• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to address claims

• Implement policies in accordance with policy agreements

• Ensure timely and precise claim documentation in the claims system

• Undergo approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in the USA - KY (Remote) is essential

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred

• Experience in managing claims involving multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses

• Proficient in Xactimate and other relevant estimating software

• Strong analytical and technical abilities to accurately assess damages and facilitate claims settlements

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Capability to travel to customers' homes and administer virtual claims nationwide

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to lift a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a pitch of up to 6/12

• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel

• Active insurance license holders are required to cancel existing appointments and cannot maintain outside appointments during employment

• Resident producer license holders must relinquish that license when directed

• May need to secure an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire

• Must successfully pass a background check

• Not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
