📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute projects and initiatives within a specific field discipline that aligns with the strategic direction of claims.

• Oversee a portion of operations for a market claim office, which typically employs more than 125 individuals.

• Lead, train, inspire, engage, and motivate leaders and employees across various business segments.

• Ensure that direct reports comprehend business objectives, outcomes, and processes.

• Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused environment.

• Create and guide action plans for the business unit.

• Manage and address escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts, and issues.

• Carry out human resources responsibilities, including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development, and compensation planning.

• Make intricate claim decisions.

• Recognize opportunities for hiring, training, and succession planning.

• Develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies and process enhancements.

• Analyze results and formulate strategies and action plans for customer service, loss cost management, and expense control.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience with large loss claims.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and nurture teams.

• Experience in navigating complex liability, coverage, and negotiation issues.

• Familiarity with bodily injury claims with policy limits of up to 100/300 across various jurisdictions.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Individuals currently holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and are not allowed to hold outside appointments during their employment.

• Applicants applying for an adjuster role who also possess a resident producer license must surrender that license when instructed.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.

• Experience in supervisory roles or responsibilities.
