Large Loss BI Adjuster – UM/UIM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +39 more states.

📋 Description

• Grant authority for the settlement of highly intricate claims that surpass the limits set by the Market Claim Office and Regional Claim Office.

• Advise on whether cases with significant exposure beyond MCO authority should advance to trial.

• Oversee substantial losses for designated CSAs.

• Provide discretionary referrals, insights, and research related to coverage matters.

• Approve requests for Closed Without Payment in situations where liability is contested and the value exceeds Field authority.

• Conduct file evaluations for complex projects and litigation cases, analyze data, and present findings.

• Assess cases to determine the appropriateness of Closed Without Payment.

• Assist the Field with discretionary referrals on intricate coverage matters and collaborate with Home Office Claim litigation as required.

• Examine coverage, liability, and damages for highly complicated cases and work alongside Field leadership.

• Partner with FPEs, FPLs, and CPSs to exchange insights and identify trends.

• Collaborate with Product, Protection, Law, and Claims teams on new product initiatives and develop Claim Bulletins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in coverage analysis, liability investigations, and injury assessments.

• Proven ability to effectively negotiate and resolve high exposure claims.

• Experience in managing complex bodily injury claims, particularly with UM/UIM focus.

• Background in handling claims across policy limits ranging from 15/30 and 35/70 up to 100/300.

• Litigation experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is necessary when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds is essential.
