Landscape Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create landscape designs for premium hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments.

• Assist in concept development alongside the Landscape Lead, encompassing vision, spatial strategy, and user experience.

• Convert concepts into practical, climate-responsive designs across various scales.

• Design layouts that incorporate hardscape, softscape, circulation, and outdoor functionalities.

• Generate planting plans, palettes, and specifications customized to the specific site conditions.

• Develop hardscape systems, including paving, materials, and technical build-ups.

• Prepare grading, drainage coordination, and technical documentation, such as drawings and details.

• Design planters, soil systems, and specify planting requirements.

• Progress projects from initial concept through to detailed design stages.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, AOR, and CGI teams.

• Assist during the construction phase with site responses and design modifications.

• Conduct research on materials and planting while keeping up-to-date with industry standards.

• Report to the Landscape Lead and collaborate closely with the entire design team, which includes architects, interior designers, CGI artists, MEP team, structural engineers, and client representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

• 5–10 years of professional experience, including involvement in international projects.

• Experience with high-end low-rise residential and hospitality projects (villas, hotels, resorts).

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong background in specifications, materials, and planting design.

• Technical proficiency in hardscape detailing and planting plans/schedules.

• Capability to design for various climates, site conditions, and project scales.

• Proven track record of experience from concept to construction phases.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design/visualization software.

• Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• A portfolio is required.
