Land Acquisition Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify and pursue new land acquisition opportunities that align with the Division's land strategy and business objectives.

• Conduct thorough research, perform analysis, and manage land data to optimize profits for both existing and prospective land assets.

• Support Regional and Divisional teams in evaluating land prospects.

• Extract and analyze data from MLS, company databases, Metrostudy, Land Vision, Zonda, and other external platforms.

• Assist the Land Acquisition Team in compiling market study data.

• Review and assess due diligence information for potential land assets.

• Aid in developing proformas, valuations, and underwriting processes for prospective land investments.

• Monitor critical deadlines for due diligence, takedowns, closings, and project modifications.

• Support lot committee presentations and provide necessary documentation.

• Maintain precise land files, spreadsheets, and databases to track land positions.

• Utilize GIS, Google Earth, and other resources to investigate potential land acquisition opportunities.

• Communicate with various departments, divisions, and regions regarding land positions and important dates.

• Perform additional duties as required or assigned.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Earth, and GIS.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to take initiative and achieve goals with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Construction, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry or a related role.

• Preferred experience in real estate or market research, with professional knowledge of the residential construction and land brokerage industry.
