This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Sanford Laboratories and its clientele.
• Address inquiries, provide recommendations, and present new laboratory offerings.
• Offer guidance on reference laboratory matters for clients within the assigned region.
• Analyze sales performance, negotiate agreements, and outline the scope of services.
• Meet monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Educate, mentor, and promote upselling to both existing and newly acquired accounts.
• Create sales strategies for current and prospective territories.
• Market laboratory services by fostering relationships with customers and potential clients.
• Achieve revenue goals set for the organization and specific territories.
• Increase sales within the designated area in accordance with established quotas.
• Provide continuous customer support and problem resolution within the geographic area.
• Maintain and expand assigned accounts while acquiring new ones.
• Identify enhancements and new products through competitive and industry analysis.
• Conduct service evaluations and account management tasks.
• Keep precise records of account management and sales prospecting efforts.
• Record sales activities, pipeline information, referrals, and forecasts in the client relationship database.
• Travel to laboratory locations as required, based on leadership's discretion.
• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences or a related field is mandatory.
• At least two years of demonstrated success in sales growth within the medical sales sector.
• Preferred: Two years of laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Preferred: Two years of experience specifically in diagnostic sales.
• Ability to effectively communicate product information while engaging with physicians.
• A strong desire to uphold Sanford’s values of accountability, integrity, service, and excellence.
• A current, valid driver's license is required.
• Must fulfill all criteria for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Consistent travel to locations within the territory is required.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
