Lab Technician I – Full-Time Seasonal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Receive, log, or prepare samples for analysis in accordance with SGS analytical SOPs.

• Utilize basic department-specific instrumentation and analytical techniques.

• Conduct routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of preparation instruments and equipment.

• Support validation and MDL studies.

• Input and manage technical information that supports laboratory functions and operations.

• Maintain the Laboratory Notebook as necessary.

• Comply with internal standards, policies, and procedures.

• Achieve daily production targets while ensuring hold times and turnaround times are met.

• Adhere to safe laboratory practices and uphold a safe working environment.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories is required.

• Associate's degree in chemistry or a related scientific field, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories, is preferred.

• Experience with GC is preferred.

• Proficient in advanced English language skills (Required).

• Possess basic mathematical and reasoning abilities (Required).

• Basic computer proficiency (Required).

• Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull weights of up to 25 lbs. frequently (Required).

• Availability to work a 90-day temporary seasonal position.

• Capability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
