Lab Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Ensure the reliability of test equipment and chambers, facilitating seamless operation and minimizing downtime.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting and initial recovery for equipment and tester-related issues.

• Assist with the setup, approval, and verification of new tools and reliability testers.

• Operate equipment including HAST, TC, vibration testers, and bend testers.

• Maintain thorough log sheets, calibration records, and preventive maintenance schedules.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to address testing requirements and resolve equipment-related challenges.

• Uphold adherence to 6S standards, ensuring proper lab housekeeping and safety measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must hold at least a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the same field or in manufacturing is required.

• Ability to work independently is essential.

• Candidates must be willing to work in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang.

• Strong practical experience with reliability test chambers and associated equipment is necessary.

• Familiarity with acceleration test methodologies and semiconductor assembly processes is important.

• Basic programming knowledge is preferred.

• Quick learning ability along with strong problem-solving and communication skills is required.

• Experience in drive-level reliability testing will be considered an advantage.
