Korean Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between speakers of Korean and English.

• Process information swiftly and accurately in a professional manner.

• Handle calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Have a strong understanding of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology.

• Engage in internal professional training sessions.

• Communicate and provide updates to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Korean.

• Reside in the United States.

• At least 3 years of interpretation experience.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capable of conveying accurate concepts and meanings in line with established interpretation protocols, without omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with permission or upon the client's request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Must have Windows 10 or Mac operating system.

• A quiet and secure working environment is necessary.

• Language testing and background checks may be required based on location.
