Knowledge Architect – Product Enablement Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and uphold Docplanner’s product knowledge content model, encompassing facts, organization, labels, metadata, and the distinction between internal and external knowledge.

• Establish quality criteria that require every fact to cite its source, whether from repositories, files, or code.

• Develop a shared knowledge framework for the Kraken and Noa assistants.

• Navigate GitHub repositories and monorepos to identify feature logic and transform it into clear, reviewable output.

• Enhance code-to-knowledge generation to minimize the need for manual fact verification.

• Ensure that new or modified features generate knowledge from code from day one.

• Assess the existing internal knowledge base and determine if content should be migrated, rewritten, generated from code, or archived.

• Prioritize knowledge base tasks based on topic usage and frequency of changes, in collaboration with the team manager.

• Spearhead the team’s knowledge base transformation and uphold consistent quality across various markets and contributors.

• Develop working guides, examples, and training sessions to facilitate the new knowledge workflow.

• Enhance team capabilities in fact writing, content review, identifying knowledge gaps, repository-based content, and AI assistant testing.

• Recognize knowledge not present in code, including market and plan variations, interface terminology, patient-visible content, and screenshots.

• Design repeatable information-gathering processes in collaboration with Product Managers, Product Marketing, and Product Experts.

• Conduct review loops with feature owners and monitor corrections and reasons for rejections.

• Establish processes to keep knowledge up to date across frequent releases, including update triggers, alerts, and response times.

• Notify the Help Center team when releases render published content inaccurate.

• Coordinate contributions from Product Experts, Help Center, Kraken and Noa owners, and Engineering.

• Evaluate assistant answer quality against a predetermined list of questions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in technical writing, documentation engineering, knowledge management, developer experience, solutions engineering, or similar roles.

• Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branches, pull requests, tracking changes, and navigating extensive codebases.

• Ability to interpret code to understand rules and exceptions; formal software engineering experience is not mandatory.

• Experience in designing content structures utilizing self-contained content pieces, labels, metadata, and established standards.

• Daily utilization of Markdown, YAML, or JSON.

• Familiarity with repository-based, versioned, and reviewed documentation.

• Understanding of how AI assistants access and utilize content, along with methods to test assistant responses.

• Capability to efficiently engage subject matter experts for fact reviews.

• Experience in teaching teams new workflows and ensuring their adoption.

• Ability to autonomously create and define a role without prior precedent within the company.

• Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, or Italian are advantageous.
