This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the comprehensive onboarding procedure for Kiosk properties, starting from qualification and extending through post-launch support.
• Work in conjunction with Customer Success and Engineering teams to fill out technical qualification questionnaires, evaluate Opera PMS readiness, and engage in go/no-go decision-making.
• Prepare iPads, key encoders, and payment terminals for each hotel.
• Manage Kiosk hardware logistics, which includes packaging, validation of configurations, shipping, and tracking deliveries.
• Travel to hotel locations throughout EMEA for on-site Kiosk installations, lead the setup process, conduct test reservations, and guarantee a smooth end-to-end check-in experience with actual guests.
• Provide practical training to hotel personnel using established operating procedures.
• Analyze live reservation data utilizing tools such as Reservations Visualizer to configure the Kiosk and offer operational recommendations to hotels.
• Document any gaps, issues, and recommendations from the field, translating insights from hotel operations into enhancements with the Engineering and Product teams.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct hotel operations experience in roles such as Front Desk Agent, Front Desk Manager, Director of Rooms, or General Manager.
• Advanced proficiency in Opera PMS, covering complex reservations, routing, folios, rate codes, and hotel payment procedures.
• Experience in managing intricate hotel situations, including group blocks, shared reservations, split payments, corporate billing, and integrations with key card and payment systems.
• Comfortable with modern technology tools and workflows, such as Slack, Notion, and Claude.
• Exceptional communication abilities to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from hotel staff to executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time for on-site implementations.
• Familiarity with other PMS systems commonly used in EMEA (Mews, Guestline, Protel, RMS Cloud) or hotel technology systems (Channel Managers, Revenue Management Systems, CRS) is preferred.
• Prior experience in training hotel staff on new technology implementations is preferred.
• Proficiency in an additional European language, such as French, German, Spanish, or Italian, is preferred.
