Finance Functional Implementation Manager, Microsoft Dynamics 365

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee comprehensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions for both mid-market and enterprise clients.

• Provide guidance to CFOs, Operations leaders, and other senior stakeholders on requirements and transformation strategies.

• Establish solution direction and lead delivery teams to fulfill scope, maintain quality, and meet client expectations.

• Direct functional design, enhance features, ensure data integrity, and improve user experience.

• Engage in quality assessments and guide project teams through design, prototyping, and deployment phases.

• Contribute to the development of methodologies, accelerators, and best practices.

• Mentor team members and foster the growth of the D365 offering.

• Participate in team-building events and internal initiatives.

• Invest in personal development and practice improvement during non-client hours.

• Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to account strategies, ensure delivery excellence, and develop trusted partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on leadership experience in D365 Finance implementation or equivalent ERP delivery experience.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, full-lifecycle D365 Finance projects.

• Strong functional knowledge across key finance and operational modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash/Bank, Reporting, Procurement, and Inventory.

• Capability to lead solution architecture, convert requirements into actionable designs, and guide teams through execution.

• Exceptional communication skills with a background in engaging C-suite and director-level stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage priorities, produce high-quality deliverables, and lead initiatives with minimal supervision.

• Preferred experience in Manufacturing or Distribution sectors; exposure to the Metals industry is highly valued.

• Familiarity with complementary ISV solutions within the D365 ecosystem is preferred.

• D365 certifications in Finance or related modules are desirable.

• CPA, CMA, or CFA credentials are a plus.

• Previous consulting experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
