This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with designated sales partners and their clientele.
• Determine the needs of customers and sales partners, offering proactive assistance.
• Conduct product research and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Acquire quotes and manage PSA and specification samples.
• Provide innovative product and sales ideas to sales partners.
• Oversee orders from initiation to completion, including order status, claims, issues, and accuracy of commissions.
• Prepare and input orders in Geiger’s online order entry system.
• Guide sales partners and customers on Geiger's processes, programs, and solutions.
• Coordinate custom orders with Vendor Relations, Product Safety, and other corporate departments.
• Cultivate a solid understanding of billing and receivables processes to ensure precise order handling.
• Track sample expenses and manage business development funds.
• Collaborate with creative and support teams on customer projects and sales opportunities.
• Seek approval from the Regional Sales VP for special commission splits and low-margin agreements as required.
• Communicate with the manager regarding special requests, customer needs, and support opportunities.
• Prioritize and manage daily tasks to align with service expectations and business objectives.
• Respond swiftly to calls, emails, and messages, providing answers, guidance, and follow-through.
• Engage in supplier webinars, meetings, and industry events.
• Assist in sales and marketing initiatives for potential Global accounts, including product selection, RFP support, PowerPoint presentations, mock websites, and customer sales meetings.
• Participate in occasional customer visits, trade shows, and field visits alongside sales partners.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in customer service or sales.
• Experience in supporting large or high-volume accounts in a customer service or sales role.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities with close attention to detail.
• Sound judgment and capability to work independently while effectively collaborating as part of a team.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong mathematical, writing, presentation, and general business skills typically associated with a two-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the promotional products industry and its products.
• MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) certification.
