Key Account Specialist, Gastroenterology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Attain sales objectives for the Immunology portfolio by driving market share expansion and other critical metrics within the designated region.

• Implement franchise and corporate brand strategies and tactics tailored to specific customer segments.

• Persuade healthcare decision-makers through a combination of clinical and business acumen, adept selling techniques, targeted sales communications, approved medical literature, and therapeutic dialogues.

• Carry out local marketing initiatives and nurture relationships with key influencers in healthcare provider systems.

• Secure access to and promote products within selected Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology teaching hospitals, clinics, and institutions.

• Build enduring business relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Collaborate with team members to align academic sales strategies and maximize revenue within assigned institutions.

• Foster customer loyalty and improve business outcomes through teamwork with company colleagues and counterparts.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least eight (8) years of proven experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, including a minimum of five (5) years in specialty sales.

• Possession of a valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States.

• Willingness to travel, which may involve weekend and/or overnight trips.

• Ability to drive product access, acceptance, and usage in targeted Academic accounts; comprehend the workflow for IV and subcutaneous products.

• Develop, execute, and assess strategies to engage Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Formulate, implement, and review effective business plans for each designated institution.

• Promote collaboration across the marketplace, both internally and externally.

• Handle administrative responsibilities such as call reporting, safe driving, expense tracking, written and verbal communications, and representing the company at scientific conventions and educational events.
