Key Account Manager, Specialist Trade

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the revenue and profit margins for the complete portfolio of DEWALT, Stanley, Facom, and Lenox within the designated sales segment.

• Strategically enhance relationships with current dealers while identifying potential dealers.

• Establish new partnerships within the tool trade and the specialist building materials sector.

• Formulate national and regional sales strategies.

• Execute sales strategies in close collaboration with Sales Management.

• Create and implement tactics to secure new potential dealers.

• Work alongside all relevant departments to guarantee thorough and sustainable customer support.

• Manage presentations and complex contract negotiations.

• Organize and facilitate dealer-specific product and brand training sessions.

• Coordinate potential dealers with the National Association KAM to ensure focused market development.

• Further enhance the sales segment for Germany West.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in business administration or a commercial/trade qualification, complemented by substantial professional experience in sales or product management.

• Extensive market knowledge in the production-related trade, specialist building materials trade, or construction equipment trade.

• Proven experience in acquiring new customers and devising effective customer acquisition strategies.

• Strong technical acumen.

• Exceptional negotiation skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of contract management.

• Experience in analyzing target groups and selecting technical products.

• Ability to think strategically and conceptually.

• A structured work approach.

• Confident communication skills across various organizational levels.

• Proficient in written and spoken German.

• Goal-oriented, team player, and capable of inspiring others.

• Excellent MS Office proficiency.

• Experience in presenting to larger decision-making groups.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.
